3.18 will go down in history as the worst patch, & I hope it stays that way. A real dumpster fire. Marketing didn't know the future. Their job is to market. You can't pay developers with good intentions so revenue is needed. But bad releases hurt revenue even more. They need to soft launch a patch for 90 minutes before posting videos. And never post patches on Fridays.

You alive? Doing okay bud? yeah, this video didn't age well. Starfield has gotten mostly negative reviews & server meshing is 100% a reality. Server meshing was demo'ed internally around the time of this video, demo'ed live in front of thousands 2-3 months later. And in hands of testers barely 6 months after. 350+ players on 2 meshed servers. Everything is working so well, it's crazy. CitizenCon amazed nearly everyone, proving the naysayers wrong. We have played Pyro. Squadron 42 is feature complete & looks amazing. 3.23 looks to be the biggest patch since 3.0, only to be dwarfed by the next patch, 4.0 which players have essentially started testing. Per planet sercer meshing is already in the planning stages afterwards. And now they are making plans for Star Citizen 1.0, the full release of Star Citizen. Even the biggest optimists didn't expect all this. But this video is a perfect capsule of many players' sentiment before heading to CitizenCon. 3.18 was a disaster. Meanwhile, I had such LOW expectations for Starfield and was STILL disappointed. I figured it was "Skyrim in space", but it was much worse. Loading screens galore, bad game design, copy/ pasted levels, terrible engine limitations and monotonous gameplay. Starfield's inadequacies likely pushed Star Citizen to new profits last year after gamers saw the viral StarEngine video.

I started by complaining about control issues with the control systems that I had the tried to change around how the control system works but they're not listening to their people who are building the control system like the hardware and yes star citizen is dying it's never going to become anything they threw me out the game they're stole my money because I got angry for them not listening stars that wasn't beautiful game there's never gonna be it's never gonna happen

i thougt that star citizen could be really great but star citizen could stop the dev and hacking possibility will be forgotten then herald gameplay will be useless so it always have sq42 otherwise other game but if star citizen give up this kind of gameplay to focus mining it is a big mistake and a big shit for my part

Meanwhile, SC's plethora of trade ships are now stripped entirely of weapons to defend themselves during this non-escape combat experience. Their role, and even multirole ships with a few weapons, is now PREY in a MMO experience where there aren't enough people online to offer you protection or 'hire an escort'. Moreover, the escorts are now raiders, who will answer your call only to rob and kill you LOL. This is starting to drop now - 3.22 opening as I post this, with more ships added into the MM debacle. Its going to be an increasingly terrible experience for everyone not in the apex predator class of players. Present CIG employees are the 'new clay', these are a whole new generation of people with what appears to be very little industry or even life experience compared with previous talent, and they are not demonstrating an ability to think through obvious problems or see the bigger picture. Its very discouraging.

The thing with ships is: No matter small or big, mostly the role they are supposed to fill is mostly not, or not entirely in game yet. In other words, the game mechanic is missing! But they can fly, thats it. Rules of thumb is to buy NO IN CONCEPT ships! Only buy what is playable/ flyable right aways. The company makes promisses to deliver in concept ships promptly and soon after the design is done, but they mostly DO NOT! So I wait for one ship since 7 years, another one for 8 years now. The game mechanics is still NOT in game and following the roadmap will not be in game for years to come. You can not ask for a refund, all sales are final. You can figure now the method this company works, but there is alot of resources and money to join or host expensive expos and do events. Their offices are fitted with expensive furniture and artwork. All player money! The forums (spectrum) is highly toxic even by CIG moderation, support tickets can take month to get answers, however your money is welcome. So use common sense what you buy or in what you pledge.
